Get to know about FWPCenter Ministries
Our Ministries are an invitation to get involved and to participate in developing ourselves and each other.
Proverbs 27:17 tells us to sharpen each other: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
This verse and the passages of Proverbs are full of wisdom to help us understand not only our commitments to self-development, but it gives advice on how we can help to serve our family, friends and our community.
For a moment, think about two iron rods rubbing together. As the friction increases, the heat between them increases, allowing them to create a spark between them. Although it may be uncomfortable for the rods to rub in that way, the spark that results, when fanned, becomes a flame that can’t be contained.
As followers of Christ, we forget that part of our job is to sharpen other brothers and sisters in Christ so that the flame in their hearts, put there by the Holy Spirit, continues to burn. And hopefully the fire will not be able to be contained in their lives, so they become shining examples of God’s love and his grace towards mankind.
We invite you to come and sharpen yourselves with us by getting involved in one of our active ministries.
Sabbath Congregation
There is power and relief in the congregating of like-minded people. We enjoy sharing our highs and getting help to understand our lows. We take our eyes off the confusion and challenges that we face in our daily lives and allow our thoughts to rest on Jesus, His sacrifice and His love.
Sabbath congregation is more than just visiting a service. Its an active participation in sharing and caring for each other. Come, leave your worries at the door, and enjoy the freedom of trusting in the power of Jesus.
